2012 Strategic Plan

After five months of work, the Strategic Plan Committee is pleased to present the St. John’s 2012 Strategic Plan. The plan can be found by clicking here.

The committee decided to format the findings in two categories: 1) those things the parish identifies as the most positive aspects of St. John’s and should continue to fully support (three items); and 2) aspects of St. John’s that need focused attention and improvement (four items)

Our work was based on the research that was done during the listening and information gathering phase. We heard from 159 survey participants and about 120 listening session or interview participants (some of these represent the same person participating in both). Additionally, we interviewed the clergy, wardens, and staff, and received input from the Vestry and other church leaders. The committee also used its experience and judgment in identifying these key themes.

We hope you will join us at the Adult Forum on May 20 when the committee will discuss the findings with the parish.

Grateful, glad and giving!

Grateful, glad and givingThe official portion of our 2012 pledge campaign has ended, but new pledges are still being gratefully accepted. Pledged contributions are the financial bedrock of our parish, and each pledge makes a difference. We prayerfully ask that you pledge to St. John's as generously as your circumstances permit.
