It's one of our most cherished hymns—its resonant words and beautiful music serve as an inspiration for our important work here at St. John’s as we go about our planned renovations. We are not just replacing our organ and rebuilding our worship space, but enhancing and renewing our relationship to God.
These improvements not only will draw our community together in vibrant worship, offer opportunities to reach out to the broader community through concerts, and ensure the viability of St. John’s music program for generations to come, but truly enable us to Lift High the Cross, both physically and metaphorically.
