Christian Education | A Note from the Rector | Church School | Adult Faith Formation | Worship/Study Resources
This is a time of great spiritual seeking and energy in our culture. Whether we consider ourselves "religious" or not, our human spirits are hungry for meaning and purpose. We need tools for addressing life's tough questions and dilemmas. We want our Christian faith to feed this hunger and offer tools to help us make sense out of life. It is important that we make connections between what we hear and say in worship, what we teach in our classes and the real concerns of our complicated lives.
Our Christian education curriculum aims to make this connection between faith and life. We offer a combination of newcomer classes, adult forums, parenting groups and Bible study. These are led by parishioners and occasional outside speakers, generally on Sunday mornings. We also offer a functional education curriculum of longer weeknight classes with occasional weekends away to dig more deeply into the issues of our lives and build stronger ties between us.
My hope is that each of you will come to at least some of these. If you find your faith brought more alive and your life becoming more faithful, it will be well worth it!
Love and prayers, Susan
